TEXTUREPlease respond to the following questions using complete sentences. Post your responses on your Texture Weebly page along with your photographs.
1. What is your theme? Explain how each texture works with this theme. My theme is art, each texture photo I took works with this theme because in the first photo I took a close up photo of a ceramics piece. The texture in this piece is just the texture that the clay has once it came off of the wheel which is just lines. The second photo I took works with art because it is of paint brushes and the texture is coming from the bristles. The next photos are my color change, which is just of texture pieces that you use in ceramics to add texture to the ceramic piece. Lastly, my out of school photo is of a watercolor palette which is an art material, the texture in this photo comes from the mixed watercolors.
2. What part of the process was the most challenging? The part of the process that was most challenging was finding textures to photograph. Once I was able to find the textures, finding the different angles and ways to photograph them was also challenging. Also, taking photos at home was also challenging because I don't have much art supplies at home.
3. If you had the opportunity to redo this project, what would you do differently? Explain using detail. If I could redo this project I would keep all of my in school photos the same because I like the way those turned out. But, I would change my at home photo because I don't like how dark the photo is and how the photo is not as clear as the ones taken on a real camera.
