1. When would you personally use depth-of-field when photographing in the future? Give specific examples.
I would use depth-of-field when photographing in the future when I want to focus specifically on one thing, for example if I were taking photos of flowers and wanted to get just a single flower in focus I would use depth-of-field. Also, another time I would use depth of field is if I were photographing someone and they were surrounded by a busy landscape, I would use depth-of-field in order to focus on just the person.
2. Explain why you put the little figurines in the setting you did.
I put this little figurine in the setting I did because I wanted him to look as if he had just climbed a mountain and since my them is art, this mountain was a ceramics piece. I also added in a piece of string to make it look as if he used that to climb the mountain. I picked my background to be a section of the ceramics room where the clay is recycled because I felt as if this area has the most wet clay around it.
3. How could you improve your photographs and/or what would you do differently? Explain using detail.
I could improve this photograph by possibly using a different piece of ceramics, this is because if someone wasn't ver familiar of ceramics it could be easier to tell what it is. Also, if there was a better background that had more mounds of clay in it, that would also add more to this photo.
