1. Explain how you showed the meaning of each word.
The way I showed the meaning of the first word "fall" is by having this word progressively go closer to coming off the page. I made all of the letters tilted as if they were falling off of the page. As for my second design I used the word "full" and I filled the "U" with the word full to show that the "U" was full.
2. What was the process of creating your word illustrations like?
I found the process of creating word illustrations to be simpler than I thought. This is because it was easy once you got the hang of all of the different tools on Illustrator and once I had a few ideas the creating part was not difficult.
3. What is your favorite part of your word illustrations?
My favorite part of my word illustrations is the "U" in the word "full". I like how you can still read the word full in the U and the way the "U" is filled all the way to the top.
4. What was the most challenging part of creating your word illustrations?
The most challenging part of creating my word illustrations was making sure that every letter was the same size and not distorted. I had to redo most of my words because I was not positive that they were the same size because I was enlarging only one letter at a time. Therefore, I had to go back and retype my word to make sure I made all of the letters the same size.
5. What would you do differently?
One thing I would do differently is making all of my designs on one Illustrator page because I used the two pages that had 2 art boards on each instead of just one page with 4 art boards. This would have just made it easier in the long run when I needed to save each of them.
